The concept of keeping your fancy furniture only within your four walls has been washed out’ with time. The beauty of your interiors is aptly complemented by your outdoor furniture. Out of other materials, outdoor furniture is generally made out of teak, although it is not advised to allow
exposure to the sun.
Teak chairs are often characterized by its classy heritage-based look. A normal glaze polish allows to have that shine. However, current preferences allow a layer of color instead of its traditional form.
Light brown, dark brown, cream and various shades of grey and black are quite common.
Variations in the kind of chairs are also available. Some prefer the arm rests ones while some don’t. Additionally, some have the oscillating chair while others prefer the regular ones. People are now also
considering teak-based sets instead of just a chair, although that is quite expensive.
Initially teak was considered to be valued for its durability. On an average, anything made out of teak wood lasted for about 70 years. However, it has gradually become a form of status symbol rather than anything else.
